Alampur Jogulamba Navratri Celebrations Conclude Grandly on Vijayadashami

The annual Sharad Navratri celebrations at the renowned Jogulamba Bala Brahmeshwara Swamy temple in Alampur near Mahabubnagar concluded on a grand note on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami.

On the final day, temple priests performed special rituals accompanied by Vedic chants. Key religious ceremonies including Maha Purnahuti and Trishula Snanam were conducted as per traditional rites. Following the Kalasha Udvasana, the main deity (Moolamurti) was sanctified with holy water (Marjana).

In the evening, a grand Harati was offered on the banks of the Tungabhadra River. This was followed by a visually captivating Teppotsavam (float festival) of Yoga Narasimha Swamy in the river waters. A large number of devotees from surrounding areas attended the event to seek blessings.
