Grand Shami Puja and Vishnu Sahasranama Chanting at Nagarkurnool Rama Temple

Vijayadashami celebrations were conducted with great devotion at the Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy Temple located in Ramnagar Colony, Nagarkurnool district headquarters.

Under the leadership of the temple head priest, Kandadai Varadarajan Ayyangar, the traditional Shami (Jammi) puja was performed scripturally amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras near the Jammi tree.

Following the Shami tree rituals, a large number of devotees gathered to collectively recite the Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam. Local residents, members of the Vishnu Sahasra Parayana Committee, women, and Artham Ravindar were among the many devotees who participated in the mass chanting.

After the completion of the special prayers and recitation, devotional prasadam was distributed to all the attending devotees.
