India versus New Zealand T20 series to be live streamed on TikTok

The upcoming T20 cricket series between India and New Zealand will be live streamed on the popular video platform TikTok. According to official sources, this decision was taken considering the growing popularity of cricket broadcasts on digital platforms.

New Zealand Cricket has partnered with its broadcaster to offer this live streaming service. The broadcasts will begin with the first T20 match scheduled to start on October 22 in Christchurch. The live coverage will focus on the fast-paced initial six overs of the powerplay in vertical video format.

This initiative aims to bring cricket closer to young audiences who actively consume short-form video content and reels. Since powerplay overs in T20 matches are fast and action-packed, broadcasting these initial overs is expected to draw high engagement.

This move enables millions of TikTok users globally to view the match action easily on their mobile phones. Complete details regarding the broadcast schedule will be officially announced soon.
