Kadapa to Get Its First Woman Mayor as TDP's Suvarna and YSRCP's Deepti Contest

Kadapa Municipal Corporation is all set to elect its first woman Mayor soon. Main political parties have finalized their candidates after the post was reserved for women.

N. Suvarna (Dr. Nelaturi Suvarna) is contesting on behalf of the ruling TDP, while Bandi Deepti is in the fray representing the YSRCP. Both parties have intensified their poll campaign to secure victory.

Civic issues such as proper drainage systems and drinking water supply have emerged as the primary campaign topics in the city.
